Although guinea pigs eat pineapple, it can still be harmful to your guinea pigs if not taken appropriately. The natural acid in pineapples is highly acidic. So, if your guinea pigs eat too much of it, they may end up with mouth sores. Also, make sure the amount of sugar in your guinea pig’s diet is not too much.

This means you have to be careful of how you feed pineapple to them: in small quantity! Too much pineapple will result in too much sugar which may result in diabetes and metabolic complications, especially if it has underlying issues.
