The Taurus pt92 accessory market is small but designed to fit the firearm very well. The most popular accessories include Taurus pt92 Holsters, Taurus pt92 lasers, and Taurus pt92 mag holsters.

Taurus PT92 Holsters

Taurus pt92 holsters can be found inside the waistband (IWB) and outside the waistband (OWB) designs. The Taurus pt92 holster sizes are made to reflect their relative cartridge size, not their physical dimensions. For example, Taurus pt92 9mm will fit in a Taurus pt92 40 holster, but the 40 will not fit in a 9mm holster. The reason for this is that the width of the cartridges differs slightly. The Taurus pt92 holsters are both injection-molded plastic and leather designs. If the trigger is covered while you are drawing, you can’t get a proper grip on the gun before it’s already out of the holster, resulting in an ineffective presentation of the weapon.

Taurus PT92 Laser Sights

Taurus pt92 laser sights are available in red and green. The red laser sights are cheaper, while the green ones cost slightly more. The Taurus pt92 lasers attach to the trigger guard of the firearm by replacing or affixing over it. Most use a pressure switch setup where you have to hold down the on/off button until it activates. Some lasers offer backup iron sights (BUIS) that can be flipped up if your laser loses battery power.

While this is a good idea, most shooters rely on the red dot created by the laser and don’t want anything blocking it. If you wish to BUIS, make sure it removes completely or flips down out of the way. Taurus pt92 lasers are primarily intended for close-range use, usually around 50 yards or less. If you want to do longer distances, consider a laser design to the firearm itself (not trigger guard).

Taurus PT92 Mag Holsters

The Taurus pt92 mag holster mainly differs from other firearms because of the unique magazine release. A Taurus pt92 mag holster needs to be custom-made and is best done by a professional leatherworker (not through an online channel). The most popular design is an angled pouch that allows you to load the magazine into the firearm either side up (Preferred if right-handed). This will enable you to load the ammunition and draw the gun at the same time. Some of them also offer belt loop attachments that allow you to attach this holster onto your belt, which is advantageous if you need to do tactical movements or want more stability while firing.

Taurus PT92 Night Sights

The Taurus pt92 night sights are also available in green and red. The green Taurus pt92 night sights cost more than the red counterparts. These types of sights are designed to glow brighter and more extended in low light conditions, which can improve your ability to see where you’re firing. Night sights will only work if the ambient light is below a certain threshold. They do not produce enough light by themselves for use during daylight hours.

Taurus PT92 Grips

Taurus pt92 grips are available in rubberized textures and with finger grooves. The rubberized texture does not have finger grooves on both the standard and the slimline models. The grip inserts into the handle of the gun and is held in place by a single screw at the rear of the grip. If this screw comes loose, then you will have to re-tighten it fairly often as it will come loose from time to time. The grips are plastic with rubber inserts on either side. They are textured, so they do provide some grip on the gun.
