Best Glock 43x Accessories

The Glock 43x series pistols are some of the most popular on the market today. The G43 is going to be a fantastic carry gun. But it’s first going to need a few things on it so that it can genuinely become yours. We’re going to walk you through some of those things today. Then we’ll show you some of the stuff we carry on our guns.

Laser Sights

Lasers are probably not the first thing you think of when you think of Glocks. But it’s an accessory worth considering for anyone who has any interest in self-defense. Why? Because lasers give your Glock 43x pistols a more extended range than even some submachine guns. Not all lasers are created equal. Some project a round red dot at their target. These are primarily meant to be used in conjunction with a regular sight picture. And most of them won’t hold zero very well if you’re not using them for this purpose. Others like the Glock factory lasers will project an elliptically shaped beam at its intended target. This is more accurate than the round dot because it doesn’t require a sight picture. And it holds zero much better. 

Optic Sights

Optical sights are another fantastic upgrade for your Glock 43. They’re not only great for quick acquisition because they sit so close to your eye. But they’re also great for accuracy at longer ranges. The best ones will have a bright red dot that’s adjustable for windage and elevation. This lets you dial in your firearm to make it easier to shoot precisely. 

Laser Grips

Laser grips are pretty cool. They’re just the same as a laser sight. But instead of being mounted to the slide, it sits in a grip module. This gives you an easy way to activate them regardless of where your hands are on the gun. And they’re also great options for anyone who wants their Glock 43x pistol to be ready for quick action at any time. 

Holster

As with any concealed carry firearm, you’re going to need a holster to carry it in. Whether it’s inside the waistband or outside the waistband is up to you. Just make sure that it’s comfortable and protects the trigger guard almost wholly. You’ll need a holster that’s at least as high as your Glock’s muzzle is long. This will keep the barrel from printing through either your shirt or jacket. And it’ll help keep it stable on your waistband. 

Mag Holder

You’re going to need at least one Glock 43x magazine for your pistol. But depending on how often you plan to go shooting, you might want a few extras, such as the factory ones. Or you might want aftermarket mags that hold more bullets than the standard six-rounder. Either way, you’re going to need somewhere to store them. And having a spare mag holder mounted on your gun is excellent, especially when it’s integrated into the holster like these are. 

Speedloader

Sometimes reloading can be a little tricky. This is especially true if you’re out in public and need to do it discreetly. A speedloader will make this process much more manageable. Speedloaders are great for speed and convenience. You need to be able to get bullets into your Glock 43x magazines quickly without losing too much grip on them. Plus, they’re pretty cheap compared to most other kinds of Glock 43x accessories. But they’re helpful to have on hand.

Slide Stop Lever

A slide stop lever is another minor upgrade that’s surprisingly handy to have on your pistol. It gives you an easy way to lock the slide back instead of having to lock it to the rear with your off-hand. This is especially helpful for anyone who wants to keep their free hand on their handgun at all times. If you’re using a one-handed grip and need to take a breather, this is a good option for you. 

Grip Tape

Grip tape is one of those things that can be very helpful if you need it. But most Glock 43x pistols are light enough without it to make it unnecessary. It’ll help give you better traction on your gun in wet or snowy conditions, though, which makes it perfect for any use you might have in mind. You can get away with buying small pieces of grip tape at your local hardware store if you want to cut down on the cost. It’s also not very expensive, to begin with, so this is one of those Glock 43x accessories worth having but not necessary by any means.
